Job summary

Southern Lumber & Millwork in Charleston, SC is hiring a full-time Non-CDL Delivery Driver to transport lumber, trim, windows, and doors to local residential sites.

You will work weekday daytime hours, be home each night, with no CDL required; duties include loading/unloading, maintaining delivery records, and providing friendly customer service while upholding safety.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• CDL is not required.
• Experience with loading/unloading delivery trucks is preferred.
• Experience delivering lumber, building materials, windows, or construction supplies is a plus.
• Familiarity with Charleston and the surrounding Lowcountry, including routes from Awendaw to Kiawah Island, is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Customer-focused with clear and professional communication skills.
• Dependable, safety-minded, coachable, and willing to contribute as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized lumberyard.
• Assist with warehouse, inventory, and yard duties as needed.

Non-CDL Delivery Driver | Local Routes

Charleston, SC | Full-Time

Southern Lumber & Millwork is hiring a full-time Non-CDL Delivery Driver in Charleston, South Carolina. In this role, you will deliver lumber, trim, windows, doors, and other building materials to local residential construction sites throughout the Lowcountry.

No CDL is required. This is a weekday, daytime driving position with local routes, weekends and holidays off, and the ability to be home every night.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate a non-CDL company provided delivery vehicle on local routes.

• Company Hours of Operation: Monday–Thursday: 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m & Friday: 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
