Job summary

Southern Lumber & Millwork is seeking a dependable Delivery Assistant / Striker in Charleston, SC. You will work with a driver to load, transport, and unload lumber, windows, doors, trim, millwork, and other building materials at job sites in the greater Charleston area.

The role requires a strong work ethic, safety mindset, and excellent customer service. This full-time, on-site position offers weekly pay and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable and hardworking.
• Must lift 80+ lbs safely.
• Must pass required drug testing and background checks.
• Must be able to start at 5:00 AM and work until deliveries are completed, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload lumber and other building materials safely.
• Provide driver & delivery support and assist with navigation at job sites.
• Interact professionally with customers and protect product integrity during transport.
