Job summary

Cheerwine Beverage Group in Leland, NC is seeking a local NON-CDL Delivery Driver (Class C/D license) to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. Training is provided.

Earn $42,000–$45,000 per year plus overtime and bonuses; up to 50% travel; day shift; Non-Exempt status.

Qualifications

• Valid Class C/D driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly; occasional heavier loads with equipment.
• Knowledge of distribution/warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Service customers on the route based on the scheduled time-stopped ranking.
• Follow accounts receivable guidelines when checking in orders (DSD, PO#, Military, Receipt, or Stamp).
• Place the product in designated area and move pallets to the floor.
• Pick up shells/flats, returned pallets, and damaged or out-of-date products.
• Merchandise assigned stops as scheduled per management.
• Communicate issues or opportunities with sales and delivery teams.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Service customers assigned to the route based on the scheduled time-stopped ranking. Must adapt to any changes in work assignments as well as support organizational restructuring efforts.


• Follow accounts receivable guidelines set by the trade/customer when checking in orders (DSD, PO#, Military, Receipt, or Stamp) with the customer.


• Place the product in our designated area and/or move the pallet display directly to the floor.


• Pick up all shells/flats, returned pallets, and damaged or out-of-date products.


• Merchandise assigned stops as scheduled per management.


• Communicates issues, problems, or opportunities with the sales team and delivery team.


• Follows all company policies and procedures set forth by management.
