Job summary

U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI) in Indio, CA, is hiring a Driver to join our team. This full-time role focuses on safe and efficient local deliveries, material pickups, and on-site deliveries to job sites.

You will ensure vehicle safety, maintain logs, and comply with DOT regulations while providing excellent customer service to customers and dispatchers alike. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow within a 150-location network.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a 26-foot box truck.
• Must have a valid driver's license and DOT medical card.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Independent and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Make all deliveries in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
• Pick up material from our Central Distribution Center and transfer it to the branch location.
• Complete local deliveries to job sites.
• Check vehicles for safety and proper maintenance on a daily basis, including insuring proper loading and drivers logs being completed.
• Complying with all D.O.T. regulations. Completing all required company and D.O.T. paperwork.
• Advise dispatcher of problems or delays as they occur during your delivery run.
• Complete all documentation for deliveries including preparation of logs, customer signatures on logs, and out of state mileage logs.
• Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to the vehicles.
• Advise management of problems or delays during your delivery route.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

USESI is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Driver to join our team. This position will be located in Indio, CA.

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Must have a valid driver's license and will be required to obtain a current DOT medical card.
• Customer Service Experience and Driving Experience
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of customers, providing excellent customer service
