Apple's Noise & Vibration team is seeking an N&V Testing Engineer to join the acoustics efforts to reduce noise, validate test results, and support hardware design. You will work with cross-functional teams on testing setups and data collection.
The role requires a PhD in Mechanical or Acoustic Engineering, extensive hands-on testing experience, and proficiency with Matlab for analysis. You will help improve modeling methodologies and contribute to products shipped globally.

A N&V testing engineer on the Noise & Vibration team will test and analyze acoustic noise generating mechanisms and transmission path, to provide innovative and cost effective solutions to noise reduction. A large part of this role involves working with cross-functional teams, designing test setups, collecting critical data for failure analyses, and providing insight of the results with expert knowledge. You will also work closely with simulation engineers, providing expert analysis on simulation-test correlation and proposing improvements to modeling methodologies.
