Apple Inc. in Boulder, Colorado is seeking an N&V Testing Engineer to join our Noise & Vibration team. You will lead end-to-end vibration testing, analyze acoustic noise generation, and collaborate with cross-functional engineers to reduce noise and improve product sound quality.
Ideal candidates have 2+ years in noise and vibration, hands-on testing experience, and proficiency with MATLAB, EMA/TPA methods, and data analysis. A PhD in Mechanical or Acoustic Engineering is preferred.

We are a diverse team of acoustics and vibration experts, accomplished listeners, and creative problem solvers. We work daily with multifunctional teams on innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges. We are looking for an N&V Testing Engineer to join our team.
A N&V testing engineer on the Noise & Vibration team will test and analyze acoustic noise generating mechanisms and transmission path, to provide innovative and cost effective solutions to noise reduction. A large part of this role involves working with cross‑functional teams, designing test setups, collecting critical data for failure analyses, and providing insight of the results with expert knowledge. You will also work closely with simulation engineers, providing expert analysis on simulation‑test correlation and proposing improvements to modeling methodologies.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $116,400 and $203,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
