Apple Inc. is seeking a Senior Noise & Vibration Engineer in Cupertino to join the Acoustics team. You will author SOPs, test plans and specifications to quantify noises and set thresholds in lab and factory settings.
You will educate cross-functional teams on standard methodologies and lead validation initiatives across projects. Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree and 2–5 years in high-volume product development with acoustic design validation and vibration mitigation

This validation includes reducing noise picked up by internal microphones and thereby improve quality of audio features. We are a diverse team of acoustics and vibration experts, accomplished listeners, and creative problem solvers. We work daily with multifunctional teams on innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges. We are looking for a Senior Noise & Vibration Engineer to join our team. Could this be you?
As an Electronic Noise & Vibration engineer, you will author SOPs, test plan and specifications. You will quantify noises, facilitate user studies, establish thresholds in lab and factory environments. These will enable you to educate multi-functional teams to implement known standard methodologies and run studies to learn new best practices. The analysis of the validation work that you will lead will help you to better understand root causes of various problems. You will also support and drive technology initiatives focused on projects. You will work closely with partner facilities overseas but will need to travel minimally.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $150,400 and $277,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
