Job summary

Sound Physicians, Inc. is seeking a Part-time Night Physician Assistant to join our Bridgeton, Missouri team. The nocturnist will work overnight shifts, collaborating with two physicians to manage admissions and respond to critical alerts.

Ideal candidates are board-certified PAs with inpatient hospitalist experience or hospital-based PA background, and in‑training rotations may be required for new graduates. US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Board certification required.
• Inpatient hospitalist experience strongly preferred or hospital-based PA experience.
• New grad PA: inpatient rotations during training in hospital medicine required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with two nocturnist physicians on the night shift, managing admissions and responding to rapid responses and stroke alerts.
• Support a highly complex patient population with 24/7 in-house specialty support in most areas.
• Provide care during nocturnal hours with a focus on patient safety and quality outcomes.
