The position emphasizes independent practice within a physician-led team, with a stable nocturnist schedule and a supportive hospital environment offering competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active NP or PA license in good standing.
• Board certification required.
• Preferred inpatient/hospitalist/critical care or emergency/acute care experience.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously within a physician-led team.

Responsibilities

• Perform 12-hour night shifts from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
• Provide comprehensive hospital-based care to adult inpatients.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Manage admissions, daily rounds, and cross-coverage.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging results.
• Adjust medications and treatments as needed.
• Respond to patient condition changes overnight.
• Document and communicate patient activities accurately.
