Job summary

Atrium Health Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Full-Time Adult CT/Vascular Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join a busy, collaborative team. The role offers a nocturnist schedule with 12-hour shifts, a 7-on/7-off cycle, and opportunities for autonomy within a large integrated health system.

Ideal candidates hold NC NP/PA licensure with prescriptive privileges and NCCPA or ACNP certification; BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited NP or PA program and maintain NC license.
• Current prescriptive privileges and DEA license required.
• BLS/ACLS certified; NCCPA or ACNP certification as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, referral, and consult in collaboration with supervising physician.
• Maintain clinical competency appropriate to patient age and needs.
• Work independently with strong decision-making and communication skills.
• Manage inpatient and coordination of patient care with MDs/APPs/staff.
• No OR responsibilities, exposure possible; nocturnist 12-hour shifts.
