Job summary

Ziply Fiber is seeking an Associate NOC Technician to monitor network health and respond to issues from our on-site NOC in Everett, WA. This full-time role requires delivering timely support, documenting incidents, and adhering to standardized processes.

The ideal candidate has basic networking knowledge, customer-service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. A strong work ethic and flexibility for various shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge of network protocols and topology.
• Familiarity with routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and VOIP (SIP/TDM).
• Experience with routers and switches operation.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver customer service.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Time management and prioritization skills.
• Willingness to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health and availability of systems from the NOC.
• Monitor alarms and create tickets for resolution.
• Provide shift support for Ziply Fiber networks.
• Respond to inbound requests via email, phone, and chat.
• Adhere to the NOC master playbook.
• Perform other duties as required.
