Everforth Apex is seeking a NOC Specialist (TS/SCI) for a DoD client, onsite in Charlottesville, VA. The role focuses on PC/OS/network monitoring, maintenance, and user support within a secure environment.

You will work Saturday/Sunday and Monday/Tuesday overnight shifts, with a selective weekend rotation. Candidates must have a compatible degree and DoD security credentials, plus hands-on AD and STIG/IAVA experience.

Qualifications

• Degree and experience as listed (see requirements).
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD certification required.
• Perform STIGs & IAVA implementation and imaging of systems.
• Interact with customers daily to guide account requests and access.
• Perform basic Level I/II Active Directory tasks such as unlocking and creating accounts.

Job Description:

NOC Specialist (TS/SCI)

Apex Systems hiring for a TS/SCI NOC Specialist with a large Dept. of Defense client supporting INSCOM (U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command) on-site in Charlottesville, VA!

Location: 100% on-site in Charlottesville, VA

Scheduled/Shift: Saturday/Sunday (12am - 12pm). Monday/Tuesday (12am-8:00am) Candidates must be able to work for one weekend every 7-8 weeks.

Pay Rate: $34.56/hour + $5.09 SCA Fringe Benefit Rate -paid weekly on a W2.

Responsibilities:

• Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting PC hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Performing network monitoring, operations, and routine maintenance.
• Supporting end users with hardware/software needs and training.
• Applying updates, patches, and preventative maintenance for systems.
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware/software issues using automated tools.
• Assisting with minor system tasks and field service support.

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree with 7+ years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience, or Master’s Degree with 3+ years of experience, or 9+ years of experience without higher education
• CompTIA Security+ certification (or any DoD IAT Level II equivalent and higher will be accepted)
• Perform STIGs & IAVA implementation for system devices, perform imaging of systems, CERP replacement, etc.
• Ability to interact with customers on a daily basis providing guidance and procedures concerning account requests, e-mail, home directories, file access/storage, local procedures, etc. as required to ensure mission success
• Perform Level I/II Active Directory functions such as unlocking accounts, creating and issuing accounts, etc.
