Job summary

Akima Global Technology (AGT) is seeking a NOC Tier 1 Shift Lead to oversee a team of Tier 1 technicians on an on-site, 24/7 schedule. You will coordinate monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response to ensure network stability across LAN/WAN environments.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving, and effective communication with customers and vendors. Prior experience in NOC operations and certifications such as ITIL v3, CCNA, or CompTIA are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Five years of Tier 1 support experience.
• Ability to obtain CBP Background Investigation/clearance.
• Certifications such as ITIL v3, CompTIA, CCNA.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing and network troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of Tier 1 NOC technicians during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate tasks, provide technical guidance, escalate when needed.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues 24/7.
• Maintain operational efficiency and high-quality support.
