Job summary
Laurel Wellness and Nursing Center in California seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for a part-time, every-other-weekend (NOC) role. The RN will provide direct patient care, lead nursing staff, and coordinate with physicians to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a skilled nursing setting.
The position requires a current CA RN license, full vaccination (including boosters), and experience with PCC.
Qualifications
- Must possess current, unencumbered RN license to practice in California.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including booster shots.
- Experience providing direct care to multiple patients preferred.
- Experience with Point Click Care (PCC).
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to nursing staff to ensure quality care for residents.
- Conduct assessments, rounds, follow physician orders and coordinate with healthcare professionals.
- Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
- Make rounds with physicians as requested and orient new residents and families.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
