Job summary

Laurel Wellness and Nursing Center in California seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for a part-time, every-other-weekend (NOC) role. The RN will provide direct patient care, lead nursing staff, and coordinate with physicians to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a skilled nursing setting.

The position requires a current CA RN license, full vaccination (including boosters), and experience with PCC.

Qualifications

• Must possess current, unencumbered RN license to practice in California.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including booster shots.
• Experience providing direct care to multiple patients preferred.
• Experience with Point Click Care (PCC).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to nursing staff to ensure quality care for residents.
• Conduct assessments, rounds, follow physician orders and coordinate with healthcare professionals.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
• Make rounds with physicians as requested and orient new residents and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements

• Must possess current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN in California

Primary Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to all other facility nursing staff ensuring quality care is provided to all residents.
• Conduct assessments, make rounds, carry out physician’s orders, and communicate with our other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of excellent care in a clean, safe, dignified, happy and healthy environment
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required
• Make rounds with physicians as requested/necessary
• Orient and welcome new residents and families
• Other duties as assigned

Pay Scale:

Depending on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, regularly scheduled work shift, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise.
