ColumbiaCare Services is hiring a Residential Care Associate I at Alder Creek RTF in Milwaukie, Oregon. You will provide companionship, assist with daily living activities, and support residents under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include meal prep, transport, and documentation as part of a small team in a licensed facility. The role emphasizes patient care, safety, and adherence to program guidelines; training and supervision are provided as part of the MHACBO-accredited program.

Qualifications

• Caregiving and/or mental health experience (personal or professional) preferred.
• Dedication to residents' wellbeing and helping with ADLs/IADLs.
• Driving is an essential function of this position; valid driver's license required.
• Physical demands include frequent talking, listening, lifting up to 40 pounds, and crisis de-escalation training.
• OAR 309-035-0135 requires Direct Care staff to be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide caring companionship and assistance with daily tasks to clients.
• Assist with meal preparation, clean-up, and food purchasing; encourage client participation.
• Under RN guidance, pass medications and perform delegated medical care as prescribed by primary care provider.
• Transport clients to and from the program as needed; maintain documentation according to productivity standards.
