Job summary

InComm Payments is seeking a Network Engineer I to join our IT Operations team in Atlanta, GA. The role supports enterprise network and infrastructure, monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 0–3 years in a NOC or related role and an IT degree, with strong TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing/switching fundamentals, and a willingness to work Sunday–Thursday overnight shifts.

Qualifications

0–3 years in a NOC, Help Desk, IT Operations, or related role.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, CIS, MIS, or equivalent practical experience.
Fundamental understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing & switching, VLANs, and VPN concepts.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Monitor enterprise network and infrastructure systems using approved tools.
Identify, investigate, and respond to network alerts and events.
Perform first-level troubleshooting of network and connectivity issues.
Create and maintain incident tickets throughout lifecycles.
Escalate complex issues to senior teams when needed.
Maintain operational documentation and runbooks.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and vendors during incidents.
Participate in shift handoffs and operational reviews.
Support continuous improvement within the NOC.
