Job summary

Seneca Resources Company, LLC is seeking a Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician for overnight support in a 24x7 enterprise environment. This contract role focuses on monitoring, incident response, and resolution to ensure network availability and security.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in NOC or IT operations, hands-on Cisco networking, and experience with SolarWinds and ITSM platforms like ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a NOC/IT operations role.
• Hands-on Cisco networking: switches, routers, enterprise infra.
• Experience with SolarWinds or similar monitoring tools.
• Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, VPNs.
• Understanding of monitoring, incident response, and ops processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• U.S. Citizenship required; able to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor enterprise network infrastructure in a 24x7 NOC environment.
• Respond to alerts and service interruptions to maximize availability.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, hardware, and infra issues.
• Monitor network performance with SolarWinds and other tools.
• Create and manage incident tickets in ServiceNow or similar ITSM.
• Escalate critical incidents following procedures.
• Document troubleshooting steps and incident resolutions.
• Maintain accurate system documentation.
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Follow security procedures and operational standards.
