Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0–3 years in junior system administration or NOC support.
• Foundational understanding of Windows/Linux, networking, and health checks.
• Experience with monitoring, ticketing, backup solutions, and virtualization basics.
• US citizenship with current SECRET clearance (active within 24 months).
• Current Security+ or DoD 8180 IAT-II certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor servers, OS, and core services; review alerts and update tickets.
• Execute standard procedures for patching, config changes, restarts, backups.
• Troubleshoot common issues and escalate as per runbook guidance.
• Document configurations, changes, and incidents for auditability.
• Support incident response, backup, recovery, and security monitoring.
• Collaborate with network and security teams to diagnose and restore services.
• Ensure adherence to incident, change, and configuration management processes.
