Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a NOC Network Administrator, Mid to maintain and administer servers, core services, and supporting tools for mission-critical operations in a federal IT environment.

You will own key NOC infrastructure, manage access controls, backups, and documentation, and provide tier 2/3 support. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, with 4–7 years in production IT and eligibility for SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in a IT field.
• 4–7 years of system administration/NOC experience in production environments.
• Strong proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with virtualization technologies, monitoring tools, and backup/recovery.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues under pressure.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for stakeholders.
• Must be eligible for SECRET clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• Willing to work swing or night shifts for 24/7 coverage.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows and Linux servers in production environments.
• Monitor system performance, interpret alerts, and address capacity issues.
• Implement and maintain patching, backup, and recovery strategies.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and coordinate with networks and security teams.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Operate NOC tool infrastructure—monitoring, logging, and ticketing systems.
• Document architectures, changes, and incidents for repeatable operations.
• Provide tier 2/3 support and guidance to junior staff.
