Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medtech to document, deliver and administer medications to residents with exceptional service. The role requires compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines while supporting residents with daily activities and reciprocal care.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• HIPAA compliance required at all times.
• Experience handling medications preferred but on the job training is available for candidates with the right attitude and desire.
• Must meet and maintain all state specific regulatory requirements.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with their daily medications, treatments and resident care as assigned.
• Observe, verify and document that medication is ingested or applied as directed.
• Notify supervisor if prescribed medication is not administered according to directions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records on resident medication and care.
• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy and physician(s).
• Prepare medications for distribution up to 24 hours in advance.
• Participate in narcotic counts at shift start and end, reporting discrepancies.
