MBK Senior Living is seeking a NOC Medication Technician to assist residents with medications and daily care, ensuring accuracy and compassionate service. You will document medication administration, maintain confidential records, and work with the pharmacy and physicians to verify dosages.

A health screening, background check, and English proficiency are required. This role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to HIPAA, and safety protocols, with on-site duties across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience handling medications preferred but on-the-job training is available.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Background clearances as required by government regulations.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with daily medications and care following policy, procedures and regulations.
• Observe, verify and document that medications are ingested or applied as directed.
• Maintain clear, accurate, confidential records on resident medication and care.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacies and physicians, verifying dosages prior to dispensing.
• Assist caregivers in daily living activities and safety procedures as needed.
• Participate in narcotic counts at shift start and end; report discrepancies.
• Respond to resident needs promptly and maintain dignity and confidentiality.
• Support safety checks and alerts; assist with emergency responses as required.
