Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to provide compassionate resident care and assist with medication administration and activities of daily living per personalized service plans and regulations.

The role requires documenting, delivering, and administering medications as prescribed, maintaining safety and compliance, and collaborating with the health services team. A high school diploma, CPR/First Aid, and 1+ year healthcare experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain CPR & First Aid certification.
• 1+ years of experience in a healthcare role; experience handling medications preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily medications, treatments, and care per policies and regulations.
• Maintain accurate medication and care records and document incidents.
• Notify supervisor of any deviations from instructions and reasons.
• Support caregivers in daily job duties and communicate resident changes promptly.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
