Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is recruiting a NOC Lead in Manassas, VA to support a federal program with the Department of Energy and NNSA. You will oversee 24x7x365 network operations, ensuring availability, performance, security, and operational integrity of enterprise infrastructure and services.

Responsibilities include incident management, SLA-driven operations, mentoring NOC analysts, coordinating with stakeholders, and reporting metrics.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with an investigation completed within the last five years.
• 5–10 years of IT operations, network operations, systems administration, or related environments.
• 2–5 years leading technical teams in a 24x7 NOC or similar setting.
• Experience managing incidents, outages, escalations, and SLA-driven operations.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Lead 24x7x365 NOC operations with continuous monitoring and performance oversight.
• Manage major incidents, outages, escalations, and service restoration per SLA.
• Oversee network performance, change implementation, and risk mitigation.
• Supervise and mentor NOC analysts and engineers, ensure SOP adherence.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and provide operational reporting and metrics.
