Job summary

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, Inc. is seeking a Data System Specialist in Middletown, PA to monitor and diagnose networked systems within the Network Operations Center.

You will handle incoming calls and emails, triage issues, and coordinate with 3rd-party vendors to report outages and dispatch technicians. This full-time position requires a high school diploma (or associate degree) and at least two years in incident-ticketing or IT support; you will work a 24/7 schedule, logging events

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification.
• Two (2) years of experience dispatching and logging calls in an incident ticketing/tracking system.
• Associates Degree in information technology or related electronics field.

Responsibilities

• Taking incoming calls and monitoring email queues to acknowledge, categorize, and prioritize issues.
• Working with 3rd-party vendors to report circuit outages and dispatch technicians.
• Watching live system alerts to catch anomalies.
• Triaging and escalating issues to Tier 2/3 or external vendor support.
• Hours/shifts vary as we are a 24/7 organization.
