Job summary

NoaNet is seeking a Network Operations Center Analyst I to monitor and troubleshoot our core and edge network from Spokane Valley. You will respond to service events, perform initial fault isolation, and coordinate with engineering teams to restore services while maintaining high availability.

This entry-level role requires strong communication skills, a good understanding of telecom concepts, and the ability to follow documented procedures.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position with growing responsibilities in telecommunications.
• Minimum one year of increasing responsibility in a telecom central office environment.
• High School diploma required; an Associates’ degree or relevant education/experience may substitute for the degree.
• Industry certifications are valued (Network+, Nokia, CCENT, CCNA, Juniper).

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming service-related calls and keep customers updated on resolution progress.
• Troubleshoot customer service issues, including problems outside direct responsibility.
• Escalate severe issues and collaborate with Product Owner, Engineering and Field teams.
• Monitor network events, document them accurately, and ensure 24x7x365 awareness.
• Operate with awareness of SLAs and continuous maintenance strategies.
• Provide outage communications and coordinate with internal/external teams to restore service.
• Diagnose basic routing problems and perform daily operational checks on network elements.
• Respond to outages and isolate causes with appropriate resources.
• Assist in training and knowledge transfer to internal and external groups.
