Job summary

Boingo Wireless seeks an experienced NOC Analyst to monitor and maintain a global footprint of hotspots and DAS services from our Frisco, TX headquarters. You will respond to alerts, diagnose issues, and coordinate with teams to ensure uptime and SLA compliance.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years in a Tier 3 or NOC context, strong Linux skills, and experience with networking protocols (RADIUS, DNS, VPN) and Cisco hardware.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in Tier 3 or Support Eng Network Ops.
• 3+ years of LAN/WAN, routing/switching, and Wi‑Fi access networks.
• Experience with Linux support, server/app monitoring, and basic shell scripting.
• Strong knowledge of RADIUS, DNS, firewall, packet captures, VM, IPSec, TCP/IP, VLAN, WLAN, VPN, and Wi‑Fi protocols.
• Experience configuring Cisco or comparable hardware and backup/change management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor availability and performance of server infrastructure and networks using standard tools.
• Respond to alerts, emails, calls with triage, communication, diagnostics, and escalation.
• Diagnose and repair network quality and outage issues remotely.
• Create, update and route trouble tickets; track status through resolution.
• Adhere to timelines to meet quarterly network performance and uptime goals.
