Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Arlington, VA is seeking a Vascular Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area and to advance treatment of arterial, venous and diabetic ulcers.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background welcome; no prior wound care experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and bedside wound care procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds, including arterial, venous and diabetic ulcers.
• Utilize advanced dressings and wound protocols to promote healing.
• Collaborate with facilities to follow patients through healing in post-acute settings.
