Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking a Vascular Surgeon in Los Angeles, CA to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities and provide high-impact patient care. This role offers a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule, allowing evenings and weekends for family time while maintaining surgical involvement.

You will apply vascular expertise to arterial, venous and diabetic wounds, preserve bedside procedures, and benefit from streamlined documentation in a physician-friendly practice environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No prior wound care experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds (arterial, venous, diabetic).
• Apply advanced dressings and wound protocols.
• Collaborate in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings to monitor healing.
