Skilled Wound Care in Oakland, CA is hiring a Vascular Surgeon to work as a wound care physician and lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area. This role offers a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule and a chance to apply vascular expertise to chronic wounds.

You will preserve surgical skills through bedside procedures and debridement, while enjoying a high-impact, physician-led practice with flexible options for full-time or part-time arrangements.

Qualifikationen

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one
• Open Background: We welcome Vascular Surgeons and surgeons of all backgrounds; no wound care experience required; training provided.

Aufgaben

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds, including arterial, venous and diabetic ulcers
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing
