Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Arlington, VA seeks a Trauma Surgeon to join as a wound care physician, leading wound care initiatives in SNFs across the area. This role offers no-call schedule and potential part-time options, allowing focus on high-impact care.

You bring MD/DO, license, and trauma training; you will perform debridement, manage complex wounds, and collaborate with facilities, with a predictable schedule and patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open to surgeons from diverse backgrounds; wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.
