Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Rockville, MD is seeking a Trauma Surgeon to provide high-quality wound care with the option of full-time or part-time schedules. The role emphasizes a no-call lifestyle, predictable hours, and direct involvement in debridement and wound management for complex cases.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution (MD or DO).
• Unrestricted/state license to practice medicine (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility.
• No prior wound care experience required; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and bedside debridement and related procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds, including pressure injuries and post-surgical wounds.
• Apply advanced dressings and wound care protocols.
• Collaborate with teams in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting to follow patients through healing.
