Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Rockville, MD is seeking a Trauma Surgeon to transition from in-house call to a wound care oriented role. The position offers no-call weekdays, flexible PT options, and an opportunity to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities.

Candidates should have MD or DO, an unrestricted license in Maryland, and be comfortable with per-patient/per-procedure compensation and quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background welcome; no previous wound care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform trauma-related procedures and wound care.
• Lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities.
• Maintain surgical skills with bedside procedures and debridement.
• Provide patient care with a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule where possible.
