Skilled Wound Care in Arlington, VA is hiring Acute Care Surgeons to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This no-call, Monday–Friday surgeon role lets you practice surgical skills without the trauma shifts.

Full-time or part-time options with per-patient and per-procedure pay plus quarterly bonuses; compensation range $250,000–$500,000 per year for full-time. Medical degree and license required; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligible to obtain one).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No prior wound care experience required; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsabilités

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing
