Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Fort Worth, TX is seeking Trauma Surgeons to lead wound-care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. The role offers a no-call lifestyle with Monday–Friday hours and potential for part-time or full-time engagement, allowing you to use trauma training in a new, high-impact setting.

You’ll work with an experienced team to manage complex wounds, perform debridement, and contribute to patient recovery, all while maintaining clinical autonomy and a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Unrestricted medical license in the practicing state (or eligibility)
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one
• Open background welcomed; wound care training provided

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings, following patients through healing
