Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Medical license in the state of practice (unrestricted/clear)
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one
• No prior wound care experience required; training provided

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds, including pressure injuries
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings to monitor healing progression
