Skilled Wound Care is hiring Plastic Surgeons in Tampa, FL to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This role emphasizes a no-call lifestyle with Monday–Friday hours and offers per-patient and per-procedure pay plus quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open Background: We welcome Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and surgeons of all backgrounds; no previous wound care experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds, including pressure injuries.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing.
