Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Memphis, TN is seeking an Acute Care Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This role offers a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule with autonomy to manage bedside procedures and debridement.

You will work with a national physician group, providing high-quality wound care outside traditional hospital settings. MD or DO, unrestricted license in TN, and wound care training provided.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No wound care experience required; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities.
• Perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures as part of daily practice.
• Evaluate and treat chronic and non-healing wounds using advanced dressings and protocols.
• Collaborate with post-acute care teams to monitor patient healing and outcomes.
