Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is hiring a General Surgeon in Memphis, TN to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This is a no-call, weekday-focused role offering clinical autonomy outside the hospital environment.

You will perform debridement and bedside procedures, manage chronic wounds, and participate in a supportive team with modern documentation tools. Full-time compensation ranges from $200,000 to $300,000 per year, with bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No prior wound care experience required; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, following patients through healing.
