Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Orange County, CA is hiring Acute Care Surgeons to lead wound care initiatives across SNFs. This role offers a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule with options for part-time or full-time employment, and a compensation model based on per-patient and per-procedure pay plus bonuses.

Requirements include an MD or DO, an unrestricted state license (or eligibility), and a DEA license or eligibility. No prior wound care experience is required; comprehensive training is provided.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Unrestricted medical license in the practice state.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Utilize advanced dressings and wound protocols.
• Collaborate with facilities in post-acute settings to follow healing progress.
