Skilled Wound Care in Manhattan, NY is hiring Acute Care Surgeons to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This no‑call, Monday–Friday surgeon role lets you use surgical debridement and bedside procedures without the trauma of 24‑hour shifts.

You’ll enjoy clinical autonomy, reduced physical strain, and the flexibility of per‑patient/ per‑procedure pay with bonus programs; full‑time and part‑time options available.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution; board-eligible.
• Unrestricted license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license (or eligibility to obtain one).

Responsabilités

• Perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures as part of wound care.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Utilize advanced dressings and wound protocols in collaboration with SNFs and post-acute settings.
• Collaborate with care teams to follow patients through healing.
