Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Sarasota, FL is hiring Acute Care Surgeons to provide wound care and lead initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This role offers a no-call schedule and preserves surgical skills with bedside procedures.

You will work in a non-hospital setting, avoid 24-hour trauma shifts, enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule, and have opportunity for clinical autonomy and quarterly bonus programs.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background welcome; no prior wound care experience required; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical debridement and bedside procedures as part of daily practice.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings; follow patients through healing.
