Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking Acute Care Surgeons to lead wound care initiatives across skilled nursing facilities. The role emphasizes a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule and the chance to maintain surgical skills such as debridement in a less taxing setting.

The position offers full-time or part-time options, with compensation ranging from $250,000 to $500,000 per year for full-time work. MDs or DOs with an unrestricted license are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No specific wound care experience required; comprehensive training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures as part of daily practice.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Utilize advanced dressings and wound protocols in patient care.
• Collaborate with skilled nursing facilities and post-acute care teams to follow patients through healing.
