Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is recruiting Trauma Surgeons in Sarasota, FL to apply advanced wound care expertise while stepping away from in-house trauma call burdens. You will lead wound care initiatives in SNFs and maintain surgical skills through debridement and bedside procedures.

The position supports a no-call, Monday–Friday lifestyle with the option for part-time or full-time engagement and compensation through per-patient/ per-procedure pay plus quarterly bonuses, aiming for a balanced, impactful

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma and wound care leadership in skilled nursing facilities.
• Perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures as part of wound care.
• Lead wound care initiatives and coordinate with care teams across facilities.
• Maintain a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule where applicable and offer flexible full-/part-time options.
