Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking an Acute Care Surgeon in Cincinnati, OH to work as a wound care physician and lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area.

The role offers a no-call, Monday–Friday lifestyle with options for part-time or full-time engagement. Compensation ranges from $250,000 to $500,000 per year for full-time, with per-patient and per-procedure pay plus quarterly bonuses.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the practicing state (or eligibility).
• DEA license (or eligibility).
• Open background welcome; no prior wound care experience required; comprehensive training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical debridement and bedside procedures as part of daily practice.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing, and complex wounds.
• Collaborate with skilled nursing facilities and post-acute care teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Lead wound care initiatives across Cincinnati, OH and surrounding facilities.
