Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Handle New Jersey PIP and Extended Medical Expense Benefit claims.
• Receive 3–5 first reports per day with focus on service, patient contact, and claim disposition.
• Perform medical bill review, treatment monitoring, reserve assessment, and nursing interaction.
• Maintain follow-up on pending files and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Investigate policy provisions to determine coverage.
• Understand medical terminology relevant to PIP claim handling and regulatory requirements.
• Multitask effectively in time-sensitive situations.
• Adhere to privacy guidelines and regulations for claims handling.
• Communicate status to injured parties clearly.
• Collaborate effectively in a small team.
