Plymouth Rock Assurance in New Jersey is seeking a PIP Representative to adjust first party personal injury claims in line with state guidelines. The role focuses on timely service, accurate claim disposition, and clear communication with injured parties.

The position handles PIP and Extended Medical Expense claims across states, processing 3–5 reports daily, reviewing medical bills, and ensuring regulatory compliance while maintaining privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1–3 years related claims experience or training.
• Basic PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Handle Personal Injury Protection and Extended Medical Expense Benefit claims in multiple states.
• Receive 3 to 5 first reports per day with emphasis on service, patient contact and claim disposition.
• Perform daily duties including first reports, image rights tasks, medical bill review and treatment monitoring.
• Maintain an effective follow-up system on pending files and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Investigate and interpret policy provisions to determine coverage.
• Possess or learn medical terminology and understand PIP regulatory requirements.
