First Nissan of Simi Valley is seeking an experienced Service Advisor/Writer in Simi Valley, CA. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, writing accurate repair orders, and communicating with technicians to ensure quality repairs.

You will advise on repairs, provide status updates, and manage follow-ups to maintain high customer satisfaction and KPI performance. This is a full-time, commission-influenced position at a family-owned dealership within the First Automotive Group.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Advisor/Writer required.
• Strong automotive knowledge and customer care focus.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced shop environment.
• Familiarity with CDK software preferred.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as the key point of contact between customers and technicians.


• Accurately write repair orders and explain service recommendations.


• Advise customers on needed repairs and maintenance – and sell with integrity.


• Provide timely updates to customers on service status.


• Follow up with appointment reminders and post-service communication.


• Maintain high Key Performance Indicator (KPI) scores.

What You Bring:

• Experience as a Service Advisor/ Writer (required).


• Strong automotive knowledge and a passion for customer care.


• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.


• Familiarity with CDK software (preferred).


• Professional appearance, work ethic, and a team-oriented mindset.


• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving and background record.


• At least 3 years of stable work history in a customer-facing role.
