Job summary

Victory Programs is seeking an Awake Overnight Recovery Support Specialist to provide quality direct care at Shepherd House in Dorchester. This full-time role reports to the Program Director and ensures medication monitoring, group facilitation, and a safe, therapeutic milieu for residents with substance use disorders.

Responsibilities include data entry in EHRs, client referrals, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a professional team.
• Ability to engage with clients in an instructive, directive, and compassionate manner.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.
• CPR certification (may be obtained upon hire).
• TB screening (may be obtained upon hire).
• Three work-related professional references; at least 2 from a manager or supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Act in accordance with Victory Programs, Inc.’s Standards of Excellence & Philosophy of Care, maintaining ethics, boundaries and client confidentiality.
• Provide quality, empathetic customer service to clients in the program.
• Ensure proper medication monitoring and documentation when clients self-administer medications.
• Maintain and document medication counts, incoming medication, and medications taken by clients.
• Provide milieu coverage, conduct rounds, answer phones/front door, and support a safe residential environment.
• Input client/program data in Electronic Health Records and complete group facilitation documentation.
• Facilitate and/or co-facilitate client groups and provide referrals as needed.
