Job summary

Victory Programs Inc. in Boston's South End offers an Awake Overnight Recovery Support Specialist position. This role supports residential treatment for men with co-occurring conditions, with supervision by the Program Director and on-site responsibilities during a 11pm–7am shift.

Responsibilities include safeguarding clients, documenting medication, and maintaining a safe milieu. Qualifications include a high school diploma, CPR and TB screening (may be obtained on hire), and strong team

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively as a member of a professional team.
• Ability to engage with clients in an instructive, directive, and compassionate manner.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
• CPR certification (may be obtained upon hire).
• TB screening (may be obtained upon hire).
• Three work related professional references; at least 2 from manager or supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality direct care services are provided to clients.
• Provide medication monitoring and documentation.
• Maintain the therapeutic milieu and conduct rounds, answer phones and front door.
• Input client data in Electronic Health Records and complete group facilitation documentation.
• Provide referrals as needed and co-facilitate client groups.
